Renowned as a Mizrahi Singer with a descant voice, her extraordinary talent set her on a trajectory of success that has been punctuated by numerous accolades throughout her childhood. The pinnacle of her achievements came when she was recognized as the best piano player in the early 2000's winning accolades in an all-India Level Music Competition held in Chennai.

As the founder and designated partner of Merlyne Musimix LLP, Dr. Merlyne has not only etched her name in the annals of music composition but has also made significant contributions to the film industry, both nationally and internationally. Her diverse expertise and profound knowledge have earned her the distinction of receiving an Honorary Doctorate from the Government of India in collaboration with UNO Geneva. This recognition is a testament to her tireless efforts in educating students in western music traditions on both the national and international stage.

In a groundbreaking achievement, Dr. Merlyne emerged as the only female composer entrusted with creating music for the Indian Army in 2019. Her composition not only showcased her musical prowess but also earned her recognition as the best lyricist, triumphing over a staggering 11,829 participants across India.
